In January, four members of the Autohaus Automotive Solutions team traveled to Phoenix for a two-day, hands-on product training session with MSE Audio (AudioFisher) through their North American representative firm, MSC.
This was a focused training session conducted specifically for Autohaus.
The purpose of the visit was to expand product knowledge and technical understanding related to modern car audio systems, including digital signal processors (DSPs) and signal correction.
Focus of the Training
The training covered:
- Digital Sound Processors (DSPs)
- Signal correction techniques
- Integration with newer vehicle platforms
- Working with older vehicle systems
- Product-specific technical knowledge
As vehicle technology continues to evolve, factory-installed systems have become more integrated and digitally controlled. This can affect how aftermarket components are installed and tuned.
The training provided additional instruction on properly evaluating factory signals and applying DSP tuning when appropriate.
Working With Newer and Older Vehicles
Modern vehicles often include:
- Integrated infotainment systems
- Factory signal processing
- Built-in navigation and smartphone integration
Older vehicles may require different approaches when upgrading audio systems.
The training focused on understanding these differences and on reviewing proper installation and tuning methods for each vehicle type.
Ongoing Technical Development
